Theres a guy on one of the birdforums who uses one of these and he said its crap at 1300mm BUT he uses his at 650mm 99 of the time and to be honest i was very suprised at the IQ sure works well in good light and avoid distant trees if you want to avoid CA but his shore birds etc are excellent and suprisingly very sharp.
